Infants

We have three infant rooms: infants are assigned to rooms based on age and development.  We use the Pinnacle faith-based curriculum to reach the standards set by GELDS. 

Developmental Standards for 0-12 Month Olds

 

What to bring:

  • Bottles prepared for one day’s use (bottles are kept in the fridge and warmed as needed)
  • Pacifiers
  • Bibs, Diapers and Wipes
  • Change of clothes
Please label all items from home with your child’s name.
 
Do not leave medication without a completed medication authorization form.
 
Do not leave diaper bags in the classroom, your child’s cubby should be stocked as needed.

 Hello! Welcome to the infant class, “The Buds.” I have my CDA credentials in childcare. I’ve cared for children of all ages over a course of 30 years, working from my home and in childcare centers. I take great pleasure serving in this field. I my care, your babies will be safe, loved, and nurtured having their every need met. Through my age-appropriate lesson plans, your baby’s physical and emotional growth will be heightened. I am excited and looking forward to working with you and your family to make your baby’s experience here a great one!

Toddler I

Our Toddler I room is for children 12 months+ (younger toddlers). Learning happens through their activities specifically designed to develop each area as stated in the GELD standards. We use the Pinnacle faith-based curriculum to guide learning.

 

What to bring:

  • Changes of clothes
  • Bibs, Diapers and Wipes
  • Up to two sippy cups per day
  • A blanket (no larger than 30×40 inches)

Hello, and welcome to Toddler I! I have my CDA, required by the state of GA, and I have been working in childcare for over 14 years. I love working with toddlers; they are so full of energy and I would not trade them for the world. I have an assistant who works alongside me, so don’t worry, your little toddler is in great hands.  My class schedule, lesson plans, and all other information will be posted on the Parent Board. I also do daily reports to tell you how your child’s day was and a weekly newsletter will also be sent home. We are learning our ABCs, 123s, shapes, and colors just to name a few!
Toddler II

Our Toddler II room is for children 24 months+. They have circle times and activities to help them grow physically, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. We use the Pinnacle faith-based curriculum that meets their needs and challenges them further.

 

What to bring:

  • Change of clothes (more if toilet training)
  • Extra underwear and pull-ups
  • A blanket (no larger 30×40)

Welcome to our Little Adventurers’ Toddler II class! In this class, we enjoy hands-on learning through our centers, free play, and more. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your child. 
Preschool I
Our preschool program is for children 36 months+. The class serves to prepare them for Pre-K.  We use the Pinnacle faith-based curriculum to follow GELD
standards and incorporate Biblical principles.

Preschool II Teacher:

Welcome to Early Explorers, Preschool II! This is going to be a very exciting and rewarding year for your child. We enjoy reading, science experiments, dancing, singing, and all things outdoors. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Pre-K
 

Our Pre-K class serves as the introduction to a scheduled school day. Children are introduced to a more advanced structure with literacy and math skills, along with other academically enriching subjects such as science, history, physical education, and the arts.

The Pre-K program is for children who will be four years of age by September 1 of the year they begin the program. It is a Monday-Friday program which begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m.
 
Upon orientation, a supply list will be sent home of what children should bring to class every day.
